The PADI Rescue Diver Course is the perfect balance between adventure and serious life-saving skills training. This course prepares divers to respond confidently to emergencies both underwater and in everyday situations, improving overall diver safety.
Learning how to assist others—not just fellow divers but anyone in a life-threatening situation such as a heart attack—is an essential skill everyone should have. By completing this course, you will earn your Rescue Diver certification and develop critical emergency response abilities, becoming a responsible and capable rescuer able to handle dangerous situations safely.
Our PADI Rescue Diver Course includes CPR, AED, and EFR training, covering primary and secondary care as well as care for children. This integrated training ensures you are fully prepared for a variety of emergency situations while strengthening your life-saving skills.
The EFR course can also be taken separately from the Rescue Diver Course. It is internationally recognized by the American Heart Association and the Red Cross, providing certification that enhances diver safety and builds your emergency response abilities.
1st day 08:00-16:00
First we will start with the Rescue Diver video and EFR training, during which you will learn how to provide first aid and CPR on shore. This is followed by the pool training in the afternoon, where will we practice different emergencies and rescue situations in confined water.
2nd day 09:30-16:00
All the things you’ve learned on the previous day will come in effect in the open water, where we will do 2 boat dives, while mastering the necessary rescue and prevention skills and at the end of the second dive, you will have to complete a written exam as well.

The Padi Rescue Diver Course cost 65.000jpy, including everything you need such as all Padi materials, full set of rental gear and boat fees.
As these are longer days, please make sure to have adequate food or change for lunch with you.
Do you have sea sickness? Then an over the counter medication from the local drugstore called Drugstore Mori is highly recommended. No one wants to feed the fish on their dive in the ocean.
Other than that, your average beach going toolkit will be perfect. Water, towel, sun cream and swimwear.
