The Kerama Islands are a group of small islands, located about an hour away from Okinawa by boat on the East China sea and it consists of 36 small island. 2 of the bigger islands are Tokashiki and Zamami, which both are a popular destination for people who would like to do some stargazing, since there is almost no light pollution on the islands. If you fancy some romantic getaway, or simply just want to spend a day on the islands, you can take the ferry from Naha. Diving at the Kerama Islands is exceptional, since every dive site has something different to offer. Some have endless crevasses or beautiful coral reefs, while others have cleaning stations for Hawksbill and Green Turtles. It is the perfect dive site for both Macro and Wide Angle( reefscape) underwater photographers. You can often see White and Black tip reef sharks, rays and various sea snakes cruising around the reefs.

The boats we are using for this day trip are big, double decker boats with sundeck, plenty of space, dry room, hot showers and toilets on board, providing you with a comfortable diving experience.

We will meet at 07:30 and after the necessary paperwork and setting up the gear, we will leave the port at 08:00. Our journey to the Kerama Islands can take anywhere between 30minutes to 1,5 hours, depending on our first dive site.
During the day, if the weather permits, we will visit 3 different dive sites around the islands and have a tasty okinawan lunch between the second and third dives. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know in advance.
At the end of the day, you can take a nice hot shower, change into your dry clothes and enjoy the ride back to Naha or Ginowan Marina, where we should arrive at around 15-16:00.
Do you have sea sickness? Then an over the counter medication from the local drugstore called Drugstore Mori is highly recommended. No one wants to feed the fish on their dive in the ocean.
Other than that, your average beach going toolkit will be perfect. Water, towel, sun cream and swimwear.
