What is a Diving Medical Statement?
Every scuba diver knows, that the paperwork is part of the diving these days, just as much as filling up the tanks with air. But why do we have to fill out endless amount of paperwork just for a little fun underwater?
So what is the Medical Statement?
The Diving Medical Statement was created in 1989 by The Recreational Scuba Training Council (RSTC) primarily to ensure the safety of the scuba diver and to help the diving shops to determine, whether that individual can be taken underwater or not.
